At Celestica, our people make the difference. We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Sales Manager/Director who will be a key part of our global sales organization. If you are a highly motivated individual who can align unique insights to key customer priorities and engage customers by deliberately linking their business priorities to our value propositions, then we want you on our team. **Detailed Description** As the Sales Manager/Director, you will be responsible for targeting and winning new strategic customer engagements (100% hunting role) across various submarkets in Industrial, Telematics, Smart Home and IoT space. You will also foster and build relationships with existing clients as required. The incumbent is accountable to: + Identify, prospect, strategize, and win New Strategic Customers. + Prepare and execute action plans for an effective search of sales leads and prospects. + Manage RFQs, Manufacturing Service Agreements, and all commercial aspects during prospecting and NPI stages. + Maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales, and profiles of new customers through the NPI stage. + Investigate potential new opportunities within accounts. + Engage the customer by deliberately tying their business priorities to our value proposition. + Maintain a minimum revenue accountability (a personal sales quota). **Knowledge/Skills/Competencies** + Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship management, and professional sales skills. + Proven track record of developing business with new clients / developing new markets, led by a technical background (either in manufacturing or engineering). + Value-based consultative solution selling, business judgment, negotiation, and decision-making skills. + Experience working and selling with senior-level executives. + Experience selling design and engineering services. + Experience working directly with customer Engineering, SCM, and Manufacturing Teams in the co-development of products, supply chain architecture, and manufacturing process development. **Typical Experience** + Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred) or Business. + At least 5 years of experience in a hunter role for new business, preferably in the EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) industry. + Familiar with the electronics manufacturing industry. + Good track record in new customer acquisition. + Good command of English, presentation, and interpersonal skills. + Languages: Fluent English, additionally German, French or Italian is of advantage. + Able to travel frequently (40-50% required) within the US, and to Europe and Asia. **Notes** This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities of the position.
