BrainBox AI utilizes self-adapted artificial intelligence technology to proactively optimize the energy consumption of one of the largest climate change contributors: Buildings.

Our AI engine supports a self-operating building that requires no human intervention. Using deep learning, cloud-based computing, and our proprietary process, our solution autonomously optimizes existing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) control systems for maximum impact on energy consumption.

An exciting opportunity awaits the right candidate to be part of a fast-growing company. We are looking for an aggressive Sales Executive to drive revenue growth through the sale of our AI-enabled energy management solutions to multi-site, commercial customers and partners. The ideal candidate will combine technical understanding, diagnostic selling skills, and a proven track record in complex B2B sales environments. The role involves managing a regional territory within North America, with a focus on multi-site properties and portfolios. It is a remote position that requires extensive travel within the assigned region, approximately 50-60% of the time. Following our acquisition by Trane Technologies, Brainbox AI is entering a phase of accelerated growth and global market expansion.

Where is the work:  

This is a Remote position.  

What you will do:

Prospect and build relationships with key decision-makers in target accounts, including facility managers, sustainability directors, and C-suite executivesDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targetsCreate and deliver compelling presentations and proposals demonstrating ROI and environmental impactManage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial contact through contract negotiation and closureMaintain accurate sales forecasts and activity records in CRM systemBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure retention and growthCoordinate with implementation teams to ensure successful customer onboardingMonitor customer satisfaction and act as the primary point of contact for escalationsDevelop deep understanding of BrainBox AI's technology and its application in building energy managementConduct technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements and challengesCollaborate with technical teams to develop custom solutions for complex customer requirementsStay current with HVAC industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies

What you will bring:

Bachelor’s degree in business or similar field of study 10+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 5 years selling complex technical SaaS solutions Experience selling to enterprise-level customers with multiple stakeholders Demonstrated experience in selling SaaS based solutionsProven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong understanding of building management systems, HVAC, or energy management solutions preferredProficiency with CRM systems (preferably HubSpot) Strong understanding of building automation systems and HVAC principles Ability to interpret technical specifications and energy consumption data Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Self-motivated with excellent time management skills Ability to build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels Consultative selling approach with strong listening skillsExperience in artificial intelligence or machine learning solutions Experience with sustainability initiatives and ESG reportingBackground in commercial real estate or facility management

Compensation:    

Base Pay Range: $90,000-130,000

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
