The NSI Sales Director will have extensive technical sales experience and have shown the ability to provide significant and profitable sales growth and people leadership attributes.
Key Responsibilities:
Drives the focus and targets for the sales team.
Manages, leads, and provides direction to the sales team to create a positive experience for internal and external customers.
Delivers growth for the business by meeting aggressive targets.
Assists in managing and developing key relationships with core customers.
Develops a growth-oriented culture that invests in organizational development.
Champions the application of the ITW frameworks, values, and continuous improvement principles.
Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.
Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
Implements sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
Leads the sales team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Leads sales team job results by coaching employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Minimum 50% travel required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from a 4‐year college or university or equivalent experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in the NDT industry, with a proven track record of sales leadership and market development.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Compensation Information:
The specific hiring rate within the posted pay range will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. $145-185k annual base salary.
