Are you a dynamic sales leader with a proven track record of driving growth in the Chinese Architecture, Engineering, Construction & Owner (AECO) market?

We're offering the opportunity for a seasoned sales director to leverage their industry expertise and lead our China direct sales and sales engineer teams. You'll act as a strategic leader, driving revenue growth and building lasting customer relationships, while championing the adoption of our unified Trimble offering.

What You Will Do

As the Sales Director, China, you will be entrusted with the delivery of strategic sales leadership and the achievement of ambitious growth targets. You will work closely with the sales team and our customers to create insights and deliver exceptional value. The delivery of outstanding strategic sales leadership is a real differentiator in the AECO Industry in China. By supporting the journey to become a fully integrated solution provider, you have a real opportunity to play a key role and make a real difference. More specifically, your accountabilities include:

Strategic Sales Planning & Execution:

Designing and implementing strategic sales plans to reach sales targets for China.

Delivering accurate weekly, monthly & quarterly forecasts of business.

Creating and communicating sales goals and ensuring C-level executives are informed on the progress of those goals.

Team Leadership & Management:

Managing and leading the China Direct Sales and sales engineer team.

Delegating tasks and fostering a high-performance team culture.

Customer Relationship Management & Business Development:

Building and maintaining long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.

Generating new business by creatively seeking new logos and expanding existing accounts.

Ensuring the Trimble team delivers business value to all key account(s), by creating effective account plans and executing upon those plans.

The sales team must build, maintain and grow opportunities within account(s).

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Value Proposition:

Effectively communicate the value propositions of Trimble AECO solutions through presentations and proposals.

Working closely with the Marketing team, Post-sales team and other support teams to deliver exceptional customer experience and reach sales targets.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

No less than 10 years of experience within sales leadership.

Must have strong domain knowledge in the AECO market.

Familiar with construction or building software will have an added advantage.

A proven sales track record carrying a quota in a direct led sales environment offering complex business solutions.

Strong sales process and account planning skills.

In-depth knowledge of industry-specific trends and landscapes.

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant field.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Effective people leadership and delegation skills

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills including fluency in Chinese & English

Commercial awareness and business acumen that allows you to understand our business model and the opportunities for growth in the China market place.
