Chemours is seeking a(n) EMEA Sales Director to join our growing Sales team! This position will report directly to the Global Commercial Senior Director.
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Global Commercial Senior Director, the EMEA Sales Director will lead the Chemours Advanced Performance Materials EMEA sales team. This position is responsible for supervising a team of sales representatives and managing a portfolio of ~$250M revenue across all go-to-market channels. This candidate will develop a team of sales professionals and expand the business with existing and new accounts using a customer-centered mindset. The EMEA Sales Director will work closely with Supply Chain, Marketing, Product Management and Finance to meet customer requirements while balancing company needs. The successful candidate will be able to effectively manage day-to-day responsibilities and consider long-term strategic goals of the global business.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for leading the Sales of the APM portfolio across industrial segmentsServe as the subject matter expert in the APM market and lead strategic efforts to grow profitable sales in existing and new markets through the process of assessment, intelligence gathering, generating sales leads and following up on sales efforts.Develops and implements strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for the commodity product portfolio.Provide strategic direction to ensure that all assigned sales programs/ policies are aligned with and support the business’ objectives.Ensure adequate channel strategy deployment and channel coverage across the region to deliver business growth targets in the region.Provide direction and leadership to the assigned sales team including people management of a remotely based sales force.Lead the Company’s presence at regional trade shows and facilitate key customer engagementDevelop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodologyAnalyze, evaluate and upgrade, if/as needed, the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and resultsDevelop and manage sales budgetsParticipating in the development of new project proposalsCoordinates liaison between sales, marketing and product development, engineering, R&DThe following is required for this role :
Min 10 to 15 years of international experience in the Chemical or related industries5 + years of Sales Management experience and managing distributors across EMEATrack Record in leading teams and projectsStrong desire for challenging scenarioResults Driven, risk friendly, energetic, business mindedFluent in English; German would be a plus for the customers, but any European language can be interestingBenefits:
