The Team:
The Sales Department is critical to Clearwater’s overall growth in AsiaPac. Spread across five verticals, including Operations, New Sales, Solutions Engineering, Sales Development, and Partnerships, Clearwater Sales is instrumental in broadening our existing footprint by delivering strategic business initiatives.
The Role:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in either Sydney or Singapore, you will be responsible for introducing Clearwater to prospects, kicking off and setting the tone for the sales cycle, helping to drive our growth. You will be responsible for creating, identifying and qualifying new sales leads and learning from seasoned, high performing sales executives. Your objective is to educate prospective clients about the value of our product and services, helping to set meetings for key decision makers and our sales and subject matter experts. What You’ll Do:
Create outreach strategies for new lead generation methodsResearch targeted personas within the Enterprise sales team’s Institutional Asset Manager and Hedge Fund Accounts to ensure effective conversationsInitiate contact with targeted prospects by sending personalized emails, cold calling and direct mail and social media touch points Achieve or exceed goal for sales qualified leads and sales accepted leads (in both quantity and quality) and ensure a proper handoff to Sales to assist in growing the revenue of the companyProactively learn Clearwater products and services, competitor products, and industryOffer pertinent resources (white papers, e-books, infographics, relevant blog articles) to prospects in an attempt to foster a relationship and increase education in the early stages of the buying processCreate relationships with clients to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive salesMeet with your assigned Sales Reps and establish expectations of your partnershipWhat You’ll Need:
1+ years of experience in a lead-generating role or salesBachelor's Degree in a related fieldBusiness level English language skillsDrive to achieve results through ownership, process optimization, and upstanding characterA passion for learningHigh-energy, team-first and problem-solving mentalityTrack record of prior success and strong work ethicA strong understanding and well-defined reason for being interested in a sales careerAbility to engage in meaningful conversations at all levels of managementExcellent relationship building skillsKnowledge of a CRM (i.e. Salesforce) or database is an advantageExperience with Microsoft office / Google package
