Our client, a venture-backed startup, is seeking a Sales Development Representative in New York City. The hours are 9:00am-6:00pm with flexibility for overtime. This is a hybrid role, in office Tuesday through Thursday and remote on Mondays and Fridays.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct outreach to prospective clients and manage introductory sales calls
* Identify client needs, assess business viability, and convert qualified leads
* Build and maintain strong relationships with small business owners
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth client experience
* Track pipeline activity, meet sales targets, and adapt based on feedback
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree required
* 2+ years of experience in sales or client-facing roles, ideally in adjacent industries such as real estate, finance, or business brokerage
* Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
* Familiarity with CRM platforms; HubSpot experience is a plus
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Compensation/Benefits:
* Up to $90K plus commission
