Our Sales Development Team partners with the Field Marketing organization to guide the early stages of the sales cycle and assist with new customer acquisition. We work closely with other teams to follow-up on campaigns and events to increase pipeline and generate demand for new customer revenue opportunities.
**Become a trusted advisor to customers**
As a Sales Development Representative, you will identify and qualify enterprise account leads and opportunities. You will focus on analyzing business needs by conducting information-gathering and pre-qualify opportunities through phone, social and email engagement. You will be generating qualified opportunities for regional sales teams.
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for:
+ Identifying, prospecting and penetrating target accounts to achieve pipeline and booking sourced goals
+ Updating lead and prospect activity in SalesLoft to optimize sales and marketing processes
+ Collaborating in a business-to-business sales environment to position our technology solutions to a varied audience
+ Setting qualified introductory meetings for sales representatives and nurturing top-of-funnel pipeline
**Do what you love**
To be successful in this role you will:
+ Have 2 years of related industry work experience and a bachelor's degree or demonstrate relevant, equivalent experience
+ Have experience identifying business needs through information-gathering and pre-qualifying opportunities
+ Have experience engaging with customers and prospects via phone, email and social strategies
+ Be comfortable speaking with IT decision makers via various mediums
+ Have experience with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, or similar CRM solutions
+ Demonstrate a strong interest in the security and cloud industry, and be naturally curious about industry trends
+ Be a self-starter with a proactive mindset, eager to take initiative and learn independently
+ Show adaptability and a continuous learning attitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment
