Job Description

Rockwell Automation has a vast portfolio of hardware, software, and services solutions. While clients may know the outcomes they want to achieve, finding the best solution can challenge. Sales Development Representatives are often the first live client interaction and will help the client begin their solution evaluation. They want to understand client needs and serve as the connector between the client and Rockwell’s subject matter experts.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be a critical component of Rockwell’s client relationships and business growth.

General Description:

As an SDR, you will be the backbone of our sales process and will establish customer relationships and developing and providing motivated leads to our sales team. You’ll work with all Business Development, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop targeted strategies and messaging to lead opportunities for new business. Success in the role will be largely determined by, and thoughtfulness.

You will be directly involved with the expansion of Rockwell’s business into the region and have the opportunity to be the local liaison for prospective clients.

Your Responsibilities:

Understand the client’s desired outcomes and why they are interested in Rockwell Automation solutions.

Understand and deliver Rockwell Automation’s value proposition and facilitate lead handoff to the appropriate subject matter experts.

Participate in inbound and outbound calling and email campaigns and exceed quotas related to the number of calls made, number of emails sent, qualified opportunities, and pipeline attribution.

Produce sales pipeline and capture and qualify leads through identifying prospects' desired outcomes, pains, and product fit.

Collaborate with Business Development and Sales to create a fair and accurate pipeline and schedule qualified meetings and opportunities follow-ups, ensuring attendance and engagement.

Answer incoming calls, distribute incoming emails, and monitor Rockwell’s online chat portal.

Prioritize and plan prospect tasks and outreach strategy.

Participate in high-level solution/product conversations with senior executives and other team members within prospect accounts.

Ensure accurate and up-to-date customer interactions are captured in CRM (Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce).

Participate and collaborate on projects to increase overall team efficiency.

Respond to inbound requests for demos with creative email communications, meeting a daily target of emails.

Develop a sales territory, attracting and driving new business following a strategic territory plan.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

Interest in pursuing a career in tech sales and marketing.

Be and adapt to evolving organizational dynamics motivated by the growth of Rockwell Automation.

And with the ability to maintain activity levels to produce sales leads and exceed monthly goals.

Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects.

Experience balancing multiple sales opportunities and Experience balancing multiple sales opportunities, organize, and Experience balancing multiple sales opportunities.

Experience digging into prospects' pain points and validating the issues they're facing with the decision-makers.

Team player and collaboratively.

Storyteller extraordinaire: you’re comfortable presenting a company and a product to anyone in any setting.

Prospecting and CRM experience is an asset in a SaaS software or technology environment.

Previous experience in a role requiring quota accomplishment and a track record for meeting goals will put you ahead of the pack.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or equivalent work experience

B2B Inside Sales experience in technology company.

Multilingual Individual (English plus any Asian Language) will be preferred.
