Job Responsibilities:
QUALIFICATIONS
Post secondary education in business administration, marketing or a technical discipline such as but not limited to engineering, program or project management.Excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenStrong mathematical skillsHigh level of proficiency in Microsoft office applications, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook etc…Strong negotiation skills with the ability to adapt to changing audiencesThe ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsProcess and analytical mind setDESIRABLE ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Previous work experience with Automotive OEM on commercial and quoting activitiesExperience in maintenance of ERP (Trans4M) system and/or GSD pricingBasic Cost AccountingExperience in preparing quotationsWorking knowledge of e-commerce systems such as Covisint, Ims7, SPIN, CMMS, WERS, WIPS and/or Supply PowerMechanical aptitude and/or Engineering BackgroundPrevious Sales experience with Tier 1 automotive manufacturingMAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Contract review and administrationManage development of new quotes activities and compilation of customer pricing for on time submission to customersSummarize new quote contents and customer requirements requestsCo-ordination and verification of all quotation activitiesDevelopment of customer pricing from supplied cost informationPreparation of Customer quote response formatManage and track to closure of open financial issuesMaintenance of several areas of responsibility in ERP (Trans4M) system (Mainly Pricing)Maintenance of customer web portals and e-Commerce systemsMaintenance of sales forecast in GSCManage quote capital submission including preparation, development, analysis and business case summaryTooling cost reconciliation and documentationCreation of sales and marketing presentationsCoordination of customer visitsAbility to travel within Canada and to USARead and interpret MRP and engineering bills of materialsCommunicate, both written and verbal, with both internal and external customers in a polite and effective mannerAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
