Sales Compensation Specialist
Meet the Team Join the Cisco SIO Commission and Compensation Team to provide support for Cisco Sellers, Renewal Managers and business partners who raise commission cases. When you work with us, you’ll be part of a highly empowered collaborative team who are passionate about ensuring that our Cisco sellers receive "Accurate, Predictable & Timely Sales Incentives". To collaborate with cross functional teams including IT, Finance, HR, Sales and other teams in Sales Incentive Operations to resolve issues that are impacting commissions. Your Impact * Improve the seller experience by partnering with other Operational teams and GPMs to share knowledge, and drive continuous improvement, enhancements and automation in our Compensation processes and tools * Understand, replicate, validate, and resolve commission requests from Cisco Sellers, Renewal Managers and business partners (e.g. Strategy & Planning, Operations and Finance) * Advocate for Cisco Sellers by explaining the issue to business partners to gain their support for required fixes when appropriate. Manage escalations from Sellers and Sales Leaders as needed. * Document and track case history, case status and solutions in accordance with relevant process and case management guidelines * Communicate with case requestors regularly via phone, emails and online support tools about case status and solutions * Support the learning and engagement of our Level 1 support teams * Contribute to ongoing knowledge documentation on a regular basis, including being a Subject Matter Expert for a defined area * Focus on continuous self learning and development, including maintaining all your relevant training and certifications Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor Degree in related field * 3+ years of analytical/customer service/operations experience * Experience with a case management system (CSH,PEGA) ,Salesforce, Business Objects * Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Excel user experience. You will use pivot tables and v-lookups on a daily basis, and other formulas as needed. You must be able to use and present data in Microsoft Excel as evidence of your findings. Preferred Qualifications: · Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communications skills. You must be able to translate your findings so that complex issues can be easily understood. You must be comfortable managing Cisco Seller's expectations and communicating both "positive" and "negative" outcomes clearly, respectfully and in a timely manner. * Analytical Skills: Ability to manipulate and draw conclusions from large amounts of data. Ability to apply knowledge gained in one situation and apply it in a different situation. You should be proficient and comfortable with arithmetic including percentages and basic mathematical formulas * Self Reliance: You must be able to work independently. Though part of a larger team who can consult on cases, you will be expected to research, root cause and resolve most of your seller queries without supervision. * Critical Thinking: You will need to look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings and make recommendations when appropriate * Experience with Sales Incentive Compensation administration , Oracle or SAP Incentive Compensation systems #WeAreCisco #WeAreCisco where every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives together to pursue our purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.
