Sales Commissions & Incentivization Specialist (AM&D)

The Sales Commissions & Incentivization Specialist functions as a critical role in the Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics Sales Excellence organization responsible for designing, deploying, and executing sales compensation programs designed to align sales behavior with key business strategies.  The Commissions & Incentivization Specialist will be required to work with key stakeholders within AM&D and across the broader Philips enterprise to ensure our sales incentivization program is optimized with best-in-class sales processes, methodologies and best practices – all while acting as a trusted advisor to the broader AM&D sales leadership team.  This position offers the opportunity to play a significant role in the development of commissions, quota, territory optimization, special incentive implementation and day-to-day commission and incentivization management.

Your role:

You will deploy sales compensation and incentivization programs throughout all of AM&D’s business lines while partnering across the broader Sales Excellence organization within Philips to drive best practices and business processes You will increase sales capability and productivity and drive behavioral change by focusing on critical metrics designed to motivate and incentivize our salesforce; including annual compensation design, quota development, ad-hoc special incentive proposals, territory optimization and President’s Club management.You will be the primary owner of AM&D’s compensation tool and ensure monthly, quarterly and annual compensation is calculated, submitted and paid according to set Philips guidelines.You will partner within our Sales Excellence organization in AM&D to ensure our compensation program and its key KPIs are grounded in data and aligned to overall business unit strategies designed to promote top-line revenue growth within the organization.You will be the Subject Matter Expert on incentivization improvement projects, supporting strategy and deployment in line with the management team’s top performance priorities and in line with outcomes of market research.Lastly, you will cultivate effective relationships with internal/external partners to ensure the effective execution of compensation & incentivization initiatives, aligning with broader business goals and provide influence over incentivization-adjacent projects and peer groups, demonstrating full understanding of your area of specialization.

You're the right fit if:

You’ve acquired a minimum of 3+ years of experience in areas such as Sales Operations, Sales Excellence, Sales Management or equivalent with a specific focus on supporting commercial compensation and incentivization goals.Your skills include hyper-focused attention to detail, an ability to influence both up and down the commercial leadership ladder all while working in a complex, matrixed business structure and are a self-starter capable of seeing tasks through to completion.You have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a core area of business studies (Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Economics or equivalent).You have an ability to pair big picture thinking with attention to detail all while maintaining a focus on delivery and execution.  You’re also looking for a role that gives you the right balance of management support and guidance paired with an opportunity to grow and work independently and take ownership of your own success.You have the following skillsets: strong commercial acumen; KPI creation, monitoring and reporting experience; Experience with Commission Tools, (ideally Anaplan), Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; Continuous improvement mindset;   Compensation Plan development;   Process Development (PD); Data Analytics.You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in AZ, AR, ID, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, NE, NM, OK, SC, SD, TN, UT or WV is $81,000 to $129,000

The pay range for this position in AL, CO, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, TX, T, VA, WI, or WY is $85,500 to $136,000

The pay range for this position in AK, DE, MD, NY, RI, or WA is $89,000 to $143,640

The pay range for this position in CA, CT, DC, MA, or NJ is $95,000 to 153,000

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
