The Job's Mission 

As a Sales Associate of Surgical Technologies, you will be co-leading the process of selling which involves contacting potential customers, identifying their needs, persuading them that our Stryker products can best satisfy those needs; closing the sale by agreeing the terms and conditions; and providing after-sales service and support to include case cover in theater.

About the Role

The Sales Associate develops new business, maintains current accounts and adds value to the complete process, being the main support to indirect sales channels. He/she will commit to the following values:

Understands the importance of relationships in selling.  Using open questioning techniques to ascertain customer's needs and has good working knowledge of key brands to open opportunities for team to sell.  Uses customer troubleshooting opportunities to grow and protect the business. Commercial Awareness: Understands that there are multiple stakeholders in the decision-making process and asks appropriate questions to identify the stakeholders. Discretion/Latitude/Impact: Work is closely supervised and specific directions provided by more experienced staff. Keeps supervisor informed regularly on status of work. Failure to achieve results can normally be overcome without serious effect on revenue or budget. 

Qualifications/Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Administration, Sales or Marketing, pharma, biology, bio-engineering or related experience/training in a medical, scientific, technical fieldMinimum 4 years of sales experience in Medical DevicesStrong understanding and knowledge of the hospital environment and public tendersNative or C2 level of Spanish and intermediate level of English (B1-B2)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with capital equipment will be a strong plusExperience working with Indirect Channel (Agency and Distributor)Experience working with tenders in regulated environmentsFluent level of English
