Sales Associate - Device Repair Technician (will train)

The Concord, NH Batteries Plus is looking for a dependable, long term, part time (with potential for full time) team member. We offer great discounts, incentives and an truly enjoyable place to work. We are looking for a technically/mechanically minded individual who loves problem solving because we solve customers problems - whether it be with an auto, motorcycle, boat, RV, or small electronics battery, a broken cellphone, tablet or laptop or a missing or broken key fob. Plus, training is provided as needed!

A Day in the Life of a Batteries+Plus Sales Associate

Don't expect the same droned out routine in this position. You will eagerly interact with a variety of people - from the individual cell phone user to the big business in need of extensive lighting and mobile power. As a representative of the store, you'll enthusiastically welcome customers (in person and on the phone), offering assistance to ensure that ALL of their needs are met, maintain an organized and professional appearance (self and store), and adhere to all battery/bulb safety rules and regulations. And, get ready to move - this position requires frequent movement inside and outside the store.

Job Qualifications

Ability to learn and effectively utilize new technology Ability to make sound decisions within company policies and guidelines Excellent communication skills Passion for problem solving Analytical skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Knowledge of and ability to use common hand and power tools for auto battery installs Good hand/eye coordination (for watch and small electronics disassembly and reassembly) Independent thinker and team player Outgoing and approachable personality HS Diploma and 1+ years of retail experience preferred

Some device repair and/or automotive experience also preferred
