Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.The work model for the role is: {onsite)This role is contributing to the {process automation} in {Qatar}.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tRepresent ABB as Sales and Project Specialist for Instrumentation products.•\tPlan & ensure business growth for BU – PAMA and achieve Business Target. (Instrumentation Products & Services)•\tEnsure customer satisfaction through timely support.•\tCustomer Relations Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships (from commercial to administrative functions) to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, including post-sale. •\tSales Plans: Prepares sales plans using company tool (i.e. SFDC). Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls. •\tSales: Ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals through effective product/solution presentations and negotiations. Communicates details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions). •\tNew Market Opportunities: Contributes to the development of new market opportunities in the designated territory supporting other sales professionals. •\tAdministration: Manages administrative procedures in sales processes, and supports collection and project management activities when needed. •\tOffer Preparation: Prepares offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager. Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions. •\tExecute projects by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. •\tEnsure timely submission of documents, take necessary approvals and ensure smooth process of product supply as per contract.
Qualifications for the role\tDegree in Instrumentation Engineering and / or Post Graduate in Sales, Marketing Management\t05 to 07 years of experience in industrial / process instruments.\tMust possess good knowledge of Qatar project market in various segments. \tGood knowledge & understanding of Instrumentation Product portfolio.\tMust be a go getter with excellent communication and presentation skills.\tShould have thorough knowledge of the project sales cycle and able to do 360 Deg mapping.\tKnowledge to sales tools and SAP will be added advantage. \tTeam player.
