Position Summary:
As a Sales Operations Associate reporting to the Senior Manager of Sales and Operations, you will provide essential support to the day-to-day business operations and assist in the delivery of special programs.
This entry-level role is ideal for professionals with 1 to 3 years of experience who are eager to develop their skills in sales operations and business processes.
You will work closely with the Operations and Integration team to ensure accounts and opportunities are accurately documented, quotes are created and accepted, and opportunities are effectively managed. A key measure of success will be your ability to foster productive working relationships with quota carriers and Regional Directors while contributing to accurate, consistent data in Bentley’s systems of record.
Responsibilities:
Support the effective and efficient operations of Account Advancement. Collaborate with Enterprise Sales quota carriers to efficiently create and manage Accounts-to-be-Approved. Ensure accuracy and completeness of account and opportunity information in the CRM system (Salesforce) and related systems of record. Coordinate across the Bentley enterprise to gather and properly characterize the data required for account setup. Assist Enterprise quota carriers in preparing quotes for all assigned accounts. Manage the quote acceptance process for the organization to accelerate orders. Address inquiries and provide clarification on quotes in a timely manner. Actively participate in projects:Participate in test script creation and UAT. Assist with project launch and adoption. Create and maintain reference documentation and training material to ensure a smooth learning and onboarding process. Become proficient with features, key technologies, tools/systems used within the business:
Systems include phone system, contact center, CRM, order management, etc. Proactively respond to colleague inquiries; Manage day-to-day requests and changes related to areas of expertise. Drive attention to ServiceNow cases related to the Enterprise Sales team. Develop and maintain a facility with Bentley’s current commercial programs, offerings, and products. Foster a culture of “One Bentley” and collaborate with internal stakeholders in a manner that benefits our accounts and colleagues alike.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in a sales, sales operations, sales support, or support-type role. Extremely effective communicator with exceptional presentation skills; capable of interacting with colleagues at every level and across every business line, enhancing process engagement from stakeholders. Working knowledge of systems such as Salesforce is preferred, or other Customer-Relationship Management (CRM) systems (e.g., SAP Sales Cloud), proposal automation tools (e.g., Upland Qvidian), order management systems (e.g., ServiceNow), and call center applications (e.g., Five9, A365) is preferred. Experience working with intercultural groups, people, and/or organizations. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; capable of learning and adapting quickly. A continuous improvement mindset, you seek to proactively problem-solve and propose solutions using data to drive decision-making.
