Job DescriptionAs a Sales and Application Engineer you will be part of a global team belonging to the CV/OR organization, with the purpose of selling internal combustion engine and powertrain related components, systems and services.
You will understand the technical specifications, functionality and applications of our products, build and maintain relationships with our customers, identify their needs and offer tailored solutions. You will provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales process from pre-sales to end-of-series. You will also shape and implement business plans and strategies, support new acquisitions, identify growth opportunities and contribute to sales targets.
You will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders (e.g. development, project and product management, quality, manufacturing, logistics) to ensure both internal and customer needs are met, being able to effectively communicate technical and commercial information to different audiences.
QualificationsEducation: A degree in engineering (e.g. automotive, mechanical or related field) is preferred. Alternatively, you may have a degree in business administration or other business-related field combined with previous experience preferably in technical sales.
Experience: Previous experience in sales, particularly in selling technical products or services is desired. Other experience in the automotive industry, project management, product development or business management is seen beneficial.
Language skills: Proficiency in English is required, proficiency in Finnish is advantageous however not mandatory. Proficiency in German can be useful especially for internal relations.
IT skills: Ability to use MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) effectively is required. Previous experience with SAP, Salesforce and Power BI is helpful.
