This position will utilize data to analyze performance, identify insights, and provide recommendations across the Grocery and Natural channel and its key customers. The Sales Analyst will also be responsible for updating existing reports and providing support in the creation of customer presentations. The role will assist in managing, tracking, and monitoring customer sales trends and trade activities. To be successful, the person in this role will need to be a creative self-starter who is detailed orientated with a strong desire to succeed **Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:** + Analyze data from multiple sources to derive compelling, actionable insights + Assist in the development of critical sales initiatives, such as sales pacing, forecasting and assortment optimization + Support the sales leads with ad-hoc projects and requests + Maintain and share channel insights on brand, consumer, customer, and competitive data + Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners on assigned projects + Update, analyze, and recap weekly, monthly, and quarterly tracking reports, as needed + Provide promotional performance insights along with feature/display forecasting & tracking focusing on lift and execution. **Qualifications:** The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: + Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent is preferred + 3+ years of experience in sales analytics, category management or sales forecasting at a CPG company (or applicable experience) + Experience with major retailers such as Kroger, Albertsons/Safeway, Publix, HEB, Wegmans, Whole Foods, etc. preferred + Expertise in synthesizing data to derive insights and provide actionable business recommendations + Knowledge of syndicated data and applications such as Circana, Nielsen (SPINS) and retailer specific data sources (e.g. Kroger’s 8451) + Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Self-Starter who is creative, yet has strong analytic skills and attention to detail + Ability to adapt to a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment **What We Give:** + 100% company-paid medical, dental and vision insurance for employees (PPO, HMO and Kaiser options). + A 401k plan with company match, short and long-term disability coverage. + A generous PTO and sick policy that includes 13+ paid annual holidays. + Wellness classes (fitness, mental health, nutrition, finance, etc.). + An Employee Assistance Program, including membership for guided meditation for all employees. + Monthly tech and wellness reimbursement. + An infinite supply of Liquid I.V. for endless hydration! **Work Environment:** + This role is a remote role. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. The compensation band for this position is $73,800 - $110,800 annually. The exact salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget. The listed range is applicable only to the annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or applicable bonus eligibility comprising the total compensation package.
