The Sales Agronomist is the primarily responsible for selling and promoting products and/or services to end users. Works independently within an assigned territory or customer base. Manages all aspects of the selling process and relationship with end users. Administers sales policies and programs to meet sales and profit goals for the territory. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the business processes and needs of end users. Selling role is moderately consultative.
This role is responsible for North Guatemala and for the Crop Protection and Biologicals portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the Sellout Plan
- Managing the relationship with distribution channel (sales force, promoters)
- Building relationship with distribution channel (dealers, farmers)
- Launchings and support of new portfolio
- Competitive Intelligence, searching for opportunities in territory
- Product Stewardship
Requirements
- Agronomic knowledge (pasture and corn crops)
- Based at Petén or Izabal
- Experience in similar roles
- Leadership
- Effective communication

- Knowledge of crops market, as well as its management and main pests and diseases
