The core responsibility of the Sales Account Specialist is to manage and support a designated book of business, focusing on client retention, relationship maintenance, successful new client implementations, and the overall health of accounts within the PHY or PATH service lines. This role is accountable for maintaining a portfolio valued between $2 million and $4 million or more. 


A caregiver in this position works days, 8:00am—5:00pm. We are hiring for three positions that will cover different territories.


A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

Act as the primary point of contact between the CCL and clients, addressing their needs and concerns with professionalism and urgency. 

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention. 

Conduct regular client meetings (virtual or in person) to review performance, address issues, and discuss opportunities for growth. 

Provide ongoing customer support, education on focus products, and market updates for the current customer base. 

Pro-actively manages accounts and relationships to mitigate risk. 

Coordinate and manage the execution of client projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and meeting or exceeding client expectations. 

Perform client onboarding, in-services, training, and implementation with pertinent personnel and client/physician staff. 

Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, leadership, marketing, client services, logistics, product development) to align project goals with client expectations. 

Work in collaboration with our technical support consultants to ensure the implementation and maintenance of a client is completed. 

Be responsible for upselling and prospecting  

Monitor project progress, address any potential roadblocks or challenges and escalate promptly if necessary. 

Maintain and manage current book of business through efficient territory management. 

Identify opportunities for additional services or upselling within existing accounts and communicate with sales leadership. 

Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for potential clients. 

Support the sales team in achieving revenue targets by providing insights and recommendations based on client feedback. 

Proficient in conflict resolution and problem-solving and handling client complaints efficiently and effectively. 

Prepare and present regular performance reports including metrics to clients, highlighting successes and areas for improvement. Create follow-up strategies as needed. 

Analyze client feedback and industry trends to drive strategic recommendations and enhance service delivery. 

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in CRM. 

Manage and track project budgets, invoices, and contracts. 

Handle any administrative tasks related to client accounts as required. 

Updates CRM with daily call activity, updates and any pertinent account related information. Keeps accurate records to enhance call continuum with account discoveries, client communication and issues. 

Completes Expense Reporting in timely fashion as per company’s travel & entertainment policy and SOP’s. 

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Bachelor's Degree  

OR four (4) years of direct experience in sales or account management may substitute the degree requirement 

Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record 

Background in laboratory systems and operations 

Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service 


Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

Two (2) years of prior experience in Pathology

Physical Requirements:

Requires standing, walking and sitting for extensive periods of time.

Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 pounds.
