We are currently seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented life scientist to join the Cell Analysis US account manager team. The ideal individual will be outgoing and confident with excellent communication/presentation skills. The successful candidate will work well independently but will appreciate being part of a dynamic, growing sales team selling Cell Analysis Products. Our team members encompass and thrive on Agilent’s values for a customer-first focus in curating scientific needs with our wide cell analysis portfolio. The ideal candidate will reside in the Dallas, Texas area.
Primary responsibilities of the Account Manager role include:
Meet or exceed the assigned sales quota for your designated territory.
Identify customers using supplied leads, local shows, and account management techniques.
Qualify all potential customers through needs analysis, budget and purchase authority.
Perform demonstrations of instruments and software.
Develop a thorough working knowledge of the instruments including design, functionality and operation.
Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of typical instrument applications.
Manage the assigned territory including record keeping and reporting, via Salesforce CRM.
Job Requirement:
Must consent to participate and meet Agilent approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements necessary to gain access to customer sites. Requirements may include, but are not limited to, proof of identification, proof of certification to perform the work required, customer health and safety requirements, etc.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in biological science or closely related field; OR an advanced degree such as a MS or PhD in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
1+ years application experience in a laboratory setting
Experience with Agilent Cell Analysis instrumentation (BioTek, Acea and Seahorse) a plus
Knowledge of cell-based assays including but not limited to: flow cytometry, widefield or confocal microscopy, live cell analyses, as well as a general foundation in the use of data analysis software programs
50% territory travel that will cover the North Texas and Oklahoma

In the US, this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $110,250.00 - $183,750.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
