A day in the life.
The Safety & Risk Consultant at Clark Insurance, a Marsh McLennan Agency, supports the account management and sales force teams by providing loss control services to our Business Insurance clients.
What can you expect to do?
Conduct initial meetings with the safety personnel of our clients to evaluate their existing safety programs and propose enhancements and solutions that Marsh McLennan Agency could deliver.Travel to several client sites to conduct physical surveys and manage client Loss Control actions plans.Guide clients in customizing their safety policies procedures and formats (examples: new hire orientation programs, hazard communication training modules, fleet safety policy and procedures, fleet maintenance procedures, etc.) as well as training Power Points, as needed.Periodic resurveys of physical premises. Periodic claims analyses and reports, if needed, to track types of injuries, frequency, and accident trends in Workers Compensation, Property, Liability, and Auto claims.Review and development of Liability Waivers for client special events or programs from an insurance standpoint.Telephone and email requests from clients to research questions on specific loss control issues that may arise. Create of Prospect presentations on loss control services for use by Sales Executives. Occasional participation in Prospect presentation meetings.Our future colleague.
We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
10+ years Property and Casualty loss control experience in the carrier or agency environment.Strong ability to present, advise and communicate with colleagues at all levels of an organization.Intermediate to advanced technical skills, specifically: Outlook, Excel, Word, and familiarity with Applied Systems preferred.Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks; Detail oriented.OSHA certification and Insurance related coursework and/or designation(s) desired.Risk Management degree preferred but not required.We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.
