Safety Professional: Essential Duties
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify deficiencies and hazards.Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.Provide safety training and education to employees.Investigate accidents and incidents to determine their causes.Recommend corrective actions to prevent future incidents.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.Maintain records and documentation related to safety activities.Evaluate equipment and processes to ensure safety standards are met.Prepare and present safety reports to management.Monitor and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Develop safety committee meetings and initiatives.Developing emergency response plans.Safety Professional: Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of experience in a safety-related role.Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience with safety management systems.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.High school diploma or equivalent.OSHA 30Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail.Proficient in conducting safety training sessions.Knowledge of safety inspection and auditing techniques.Physical ability to perform inspections in various environments.Understanding of first aid and emergency response procedures.Good organizational and time management skills.Pay Details:
The base compensation range for this position is $65 - $70. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting.
