ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with safety policies and procedures.Conduct safety training for employees and contractors.Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards on job sites.Document and investigate incidents and accidents.Ensure that all safety equipment is properly maintained and used correctly.Work closely with superintendents, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of the project.Essential SkillsSafety management expertise.OSHA 30 certification.Experience in utility construction, sitework, and site development.Understanding of civil construction practices.Experience in excavation and grading.Excellent communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with field personnel.Additional Skills & Qualifications4+ years of experience in a safety management role in a construction or general contracting environment.Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and best practices.Excellent leadership skills.Strong attention to detail and documentation abilities.Ability to work well in a team environment.Bi-lingual English/Spanish is preferred.Work Environment
This role is on-site, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment. The team is part of a growing civil contractor, offering a truck and gas card for personnel as part of the benefits.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
