Safety & Integrity Solutions Business Development Manager

The Safety & Integrity Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth and supporting Safety & Integrity solutions within the designated region. This role involves close collaboration with Sales Engineers and Sales Managers to identify new opportunities, expand existing business, and position our solutions effectively to customers.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Work with Sales Managers, Sales Engineers, and the business unit to develop growth strategies and set targets for Safety & Integrity solutions; Ensure Safety & Integrity solutions are included in the account plans of all relevant target accounts; Act as a subject matter expert, presenting solutions and articulating value propositions to customers; Personally lead solution pursuits and drive customer engagements to generate demand and close bookings; Regularly visit customers to promote solutions and actively engage in the selling process; Provide input on market dynamics, customer needs, and emerging trends to influence product development and marketing; Align priorities with sales leadership and build a strategic plan by industry to target key segments; Ensure sales teams have the tools and support needed to position Safety & Integrity solutions effectively; Support internal and external customers with technical expertise and connect them to appropriate experts; Manage and update opportunities in CRM, ensuring accurate records and follow-through; Adhere to Emerson's Trade Compliance, Quality Management, and Ethics policies in all activities.

For This Role, You Will Need:

A degree in business, management, or a technical discipline, or equivalent experience; Experience in the Automation and Process industry, with a strong background in sales and engineering; Proven track record of leading successful sales initiatives and developing strategic plans; Demonstrated understanding of business drivers in the process industry and plant automation; Ability to travel as needed to fulfill the role’s duties; Proficient communication and presentation skills in English and Dutch languages and digital literacy in Microsoft Office applications;;

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Experience in developing and managing cross-functional relationships in a matrix organization; Technical expertise in Safety & Integrity solutions and how they fit within customer applications. Strong analytical skills and experience with CRM systems.
