We have an excellent opportunity for a Safety Engineer – Manufacturing at one of our major automotive clients, supporting the installation of a new battery assembly line. This role offers outstanding exposure to the latest technologies and manufacturing techniques.

 

 

Job Description

Work closely with engineering, facilities, and construction teams to ensure safety is at the heart of all factory and facility designs.Ensure installations and CDM activity is carried out safely.Support site installation teams during build/installation/buy off phases.Support machine and manufacturing line concept reviews to ensure all health and safety aspects are adhered to.Review site plans and layout proposals regarding Health and SafetyTake a pro-active approach to Health and Safety, and strive to improve adherence across all areas of the business, and outside the business, such as contractors and OEMs.Advise and enforce health and safety measures during installation.

QualificationsProven History of delivering/assisting with H&S in a manufacturing environment.Machine safety sign-off experience.CMSE.A member of a recognized professional body.NEBOSH qualified, preferable.
