Your role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Safety Data Scientist with a strong background in toxicology to join our Chemical Toxicology team. Operating at the intersection of toxicology and data science, you will generate insights from complex datasets and contribute to the digital literacy within your department. You will play a pivotal role in further developing our in silico tools for toxicity prediction and closely interact with R&D functions. A significant focus of this position will be to support the IHI project VICT3R, which aims to reduce the use of animals in toxicity testing by employing virtual control groups.

 

Who you are:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the IHI VICT3R project objectives.Analyze and interpret complex datasets using statistical methods and R programming.Stay updated with the latest advancements in toxicology and AI technologies.Contribute the development of our internal toxicity data warehouse Develop and enhance in silico tools for toxicity prediction applying AI methodologies.Ph.D. in Toxicology, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline.Extensive hands-on programming experience for biological data analysis, and proficiency in R.Experience with AI applications, particularly in the context of toxicity prediction.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.Excellent written and spoken English skills
