Responsibilities:
Monitor daily warehouse operations to ensure safety procedures are being followed
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
Train and educate staff on safety protocols, PPE use, and emergency response
Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near-misses
Maintain OSHA logs, safety records, and documentation
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations
Collaborate with management to implement safety improvements and corrective actions
Participate in safety meetings and lead toolbox talks
Assist in new hire safety orientations and ongoing training initiatives
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
2+ years of experience in warehouse or industrial safety
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
First Aid/CPR certified
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution safety role
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead safety training sessions and communicate policies effectively
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Forklift certification is a plus
