What You'll Do as a Safety Coordinator:

Develop, implement, and monitor workplace safety programs.Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses.Train employees on safety practices: PPE use, lockout/tagout, hazard communication, and more.Maintain safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.Collaborate with managers and supervisors to ensure OSHA and company standards are met.Serve as part of the Emergency Response Team and coordinate drills.Promote a culture of safety through teamwork and employee engagement.

Work Experience

What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:

2+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (preferred).Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to train and engage employees at all levels.Comfortable working on the production floor with PPE and exposure to machinery.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and safety management systems.Safety certifications such as OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, CSP, or CHST are a plus.
