Key Responsibilities:
Conduct safety audits, investigations, and new hire orientations Maintain safety and training records Update safety policies as regulations change Train employees and supervisors on safety procedures Respond to incidents, provide basic first aid, and transport if needed Review injury claims and work with Workers' Comp to follow up Identify and address potential safety risksQualifications:
Bachelor’s in Safety, Occupational Health, or related field (or equivalent experience) At least 6 months’ safety experience in manufacturing First Aid/CPR/AED certified or able to obtain within 6 monthsSkills Needed:
Strong knowledge of OSHA and Workers’ Comp laws Effective communicator with solid interpersonal skills Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Confident making decisions under pressure Fights to take costs and waste out of the system Seeks to understand "why" something works the way it does, and through study and improvement determines how to better all processes and systems Strives for more in all areas of work by developing measurements, setting goals, and then working on ways to exceed goals through problem-solving methods that look beyond the obviousProficient in Excel, Outlook, and internet toolsWho We Are
