Job Description

We’re looking for a Safety Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for all site safety matters — ensuring compliance, promoting a culture of zero injuries and zero waste, and leading safety and lean initiatives to protect and empower our teammates.

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PMWednesday: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM

B Shift

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AMWednesday: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM

C Shift

Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PMThursday, Friday, Saturday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

D Shift

Wednesday: 12:00 AM – 6:00 AMThursday, Friday, Saturday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
What You’ll Do

Safety Program Development & Training

Assess workplace hazards and recommend safety improvements.Maintain safety programs (emergency action plans, heat illness, SDS, PPE).Train and mentor new employees, ensuring safe work practices from day one.Support supervisors and managers with safety observations, toolbox talks, and audits.

Accident Investigation & Prevention

Lead injury reporting and investigations; identify root causes and corrective actions.Manage return-to-work and modified duty assignments.Oversee reporting of vehicular accidents and property damage.

Reporting, Metrics & Lean Projects

Maintain OSHA logs and safety records.Coach managers on driving incidents and preventative measures.Support Lean and ISO initiatives and lead site safety committees.


Work Experience

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Health, Psychology, or related field.Knowledge of OSHA standards (30-hour General Industry preferred).Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to influence safety culture.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred:

Bilingual in English/Spanish.First Aid/CPR certification.
