Job Details:
This position will report directly to the EHS Manager
Pay: 18.10/hour
$2 shift differential
Responsibilities:
Team Member will be responsible for helping to promote and encourage and educate Team Members in the continuous development and improvement of the safety culture at Tyler Road. This position will be responsible for ensuring new Team Member’s understand safety rules and regulations throughout the orientation process, and that they are slowly transitioned from the classroom to the production floor. This position will assist with other safety related training as needed. Good communication and computer skills will be necessary to ensure effectiveness of training programs. Other duties will include, but are not limited to; record keeping, verifying program effectiveness on the production floor, doing daily, weekly, and monthly plant safety inspections and audits, looking for and documenting safety hazards, working to help support and encourage the promotion of Tyson Foods, Inc. safety culture, and other duties as assigned by EHS Manager.
Work schedule:
This position’s work schedule will be 2nd shift hours, 1:00 pm till 9:00 pm. Work week will typically be Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays or Sundays required.

Requirements:
Team Member must be able to lift 70 lbs. must be able to travel 3-6 times per year for training purposes, must have knowledge of basic Microsoft programs such as power point, word, excel, Outlook. Must be able to create simple spread sheets. Must be able to work flexible shifts, hours, and weekends as needed, must communicate well with Team Members and all levels of management, and must be able and willing to speak in front of an audience. Must be able to work around breader dust and in a temperature of 50 degrees F or less. Must be able to climb stairs to access all areas of the facility.

Must have three months of consecutive work history with one employer within the last 12 months. Relevant experience preferred; relevant training/education certifications preferred
