TITLE: Safety Administrator
DEPARTMENT: Safety
The Safety admin job responsibilities are to ensure compliance with the facility's safety regulations and to promote a safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing safety policies, conduct inspections, participate in incident investigations, and provide training. Maintain the corporate safety file plan updated with accurate documentation, with the safety supervisor's direction and support. Teach new employee safety and health orientation as directed. Participate and maintain accurate information on plant audit findings and follow ups for completion. participate in accident investigations.Assist in medical activities such as hearing testing, translations. Communicating safety information to employees and managers and collaborating with departments to promote safety culture.Any other task as directed by the safety supervisor or safety manager.Competencies:
Fluency in the English language is required. Fluency in Spanish language is preferably.
Some excel and PowerPoint experience is required.
Attention to detail as it relates to the safety file plan obligations.
Dependability.
