OUR TEAM
Our Explosive Ordnance Services (EOS) team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. Within our logistics services business there are 17+ depots throughout Australia, allowing various development and progression opportunities.
YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated Safety, Security & Systems Coordinator to join our team at Edinburgh. In this role, you will ensure compliance with safety, security, and quality management systems while supporting the depot’s operations.
You will play a key role in maintaining adherence to legislative requirements, managing risks, and fostering a culture of safety and security within the organisation.
Based on the Edinburgh RAAF base, on Kaurna land, your role purpose will be:
Implement and manage safety and security practices in accordance with Major Hazard Facility (MHF)
Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures for safety and security
Investigate safety or security breaches and provide detailed reports to management
Manage contractor operations, including inductions, work permits, audits, and compliance monitoring
Maintain accurate records for audits related to safety, security, and business services
Support environmental management plans and ensure facilities meet contractual requirements
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent experience
Ability to identify and assess risk and deliver training programs
Computer literacy with a sound knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products
Experience within a warehousing, logistics and/or logistics industry would be highly desirable
