If you're a solutions-driven, passionate change-maker, come join us in positively impacting the lives of millions of people world-wide for a better future.Provide training and capacity building to IRC staff and implementation partners (IPs) on safeguarding standards, including Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEA).Monitor partners’ compliance with safeguarding requirements through assessments, spot checks, and follow-ups, and guide the safeguarding focal point of each implementation partner (IPs) as needed.Act as a focal point for safeguarding concerns and incidents, ensuring appropriate and timely reporting, documentation, and referral in line with organizational procedures.Conduct field visits and prepare detailed field visit reports with relevant recommendations and action points for the respective partners. Reports should be shared with the Safeguarding Manager.Conduct regular safeguarding risk assessments and ensure appropriate mitigation plans are developed and implemented.Support the Safeguarding Manager in developing the annual safeguarding training and field visit plan.Deliver safeguarding training to staff in accordance with the approved safeguarding training plan.Collaborate with staff and partners to ensure that safeguarding is a core consideration in all organizational activities across the mission.Assist the Safeguarding Manager in contextualizing training content and Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials.Ensure all IPs have access to safeguarding IEC materials and are actively utilizing them.Conduct client-focused safeguarding training sessions as required by the project proposal.Serve as the point of contact for any community-level safeguarding issues that arise.Maintain accurate, confidential records of any safeguarding concerns related to staff, clients, or beneficiaries.Hold regular meetings with the Safeguarding Manager to review implementation, monitoring, and improvement of safeguarding practices across the project and partner organizations.Liaise with the Safeguarding Manager when safeguarding issues emerge and seek timely guidance.Promote and champion safeguarding policies and procedures among field staff to encourage best practices.Perform any other related duties as assigned by the line manager.
Minimum Qualifications:At least 2-3 years of work experience in the field of safeguarding (experience with an international NGO or UN Agencies)A minimum bachelor’s degree in law, Social Work, Psychology, Human Rights, Child Protection Law, or a similar field.Experience in Safeguarding within a professional setting.Strong analytical skills related to feedback mechanisms, safeguarding, protection, and similar mattersDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations diplomatically and possess strong communication skills.Ability to travel to other IRC field sites and province field project sites to promote safeguarding awareness through training and orientations.
