In this role, you will:
Define and deliver best-in-class Hana database Platforms for SAP S/4 Hana.
Configuration, Documentation, Testing, Delivery and Maintenance of enterprise scale IT Infrastructures for SAP S/4 Hana (Scope includes work among SAP and non-SAP Systems and Applications).
Manage service requests seamlessly within and outside of SAP, such as incidents or changes to configuration elements (CIs).
Operate in close partnership with the IT and business communities, subject matter experts, external consultants, cross functional teams, add-ons, etc.
Create and execute outcome-oriented strategies and build/sustain meaningful business relationships.
implement, configure, monitor, tune, and troubleshoot the SAP technology landscape, and corporate SAP HANA database environments.
Operates as the in-house expert on highly complex systems and projects. Leads and provides guidance to Application Developers and business partner DBA levels I and II.
Monitor, maintain, document processes/resolutions to issues, predict SAP Applications performance to meet established service levels, and schedule/execute the SAP system housekeeping and monitoring.
Responsible for troubleshooting SAP HANA issues.
Responsible for rapid repair and recovery in system failure situations.
Responsible for tracking and managing all security certificates and licenses for SAP HANA.
Responsible for implementation and testing of SAP HANA Database patches and SAP HANA Database upgrades utilizing a structured methodology.
Perform SAP system refresh and related configuration as needed.
Introduce technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability, and performance of each SAP HANA Database.
Establishes maintenance plans for each SAP HANA Database, to include backups and recovery.
Maintain the existing SAP Landscape diagrams and document all database processes.
Optimizes SAP application and database performance to ensure a high-level of performance.
Ensures that all actions follow established internal controls and change management processes.
Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans in compliance with the departmental and organizational disaster recovery plans.
Automate/simplify server delivery process for quick and consistent results in keeping with project timeline requirements.
Maintains strict confidentiality and security of sensitive data.
Relies on significant experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications and Experiences:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or 7-10 years of experience in a related field experience as a Database Administrator.
2-4 years’ experience as infrastructure Senior, including responsibility for training, evaluating staff, and assigning workloads.
Expert level experience in Database Administration, and experience with, SAP HANA, Linux, Significant experience in implementing and managing SAP solutions.
Demonstrated experience in SAP upgrades, patch management and troubleshooting. Knowledge of SQL Tuning.
Experience in coordinating and managing multiple projects and resources.
Strong customer service and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
One or more certifications in database administration is desirable: SAP Administration, SAP HANA, etc.
Experience with SAN storage and data protection systems design and administration.
Experience with server virtualization, optimization, and performance tuning.
Experience with Cloud/hosting services.
Complex troubleshooting ability/skills to quickly investigate and resolve problems. To create, document and explain resolutions.
Cross-train team members to performance operational tasks and create process and procedure documentation.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in preparation for senior management communications and discussions.
Ability to provision and deliver new systems while maintaining existing server consistency and stability.
Experience with hybrid cloud automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, etc.
Significant Cloud IaaS experience in Azure and/or GCP is preferred.
Perform ongoing performance tuning, upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
