S&O L3 Team Manager
Purpose:
This role is situated within the Digital Technology Department, operating under the Global Development Center within the DIGITAL and IT function at JTI. Specifically, the DIGITECH department, housed within the GDC, plays a critical role in defining technology and process strategy aligned with the business vision, as well as Digital delivery.
Reporting Structure: S&O L3 Team Lead will be under the direct supervision of the Operational Excellence Delivery Director. The primary focus of this role is to empower and lead S&O L3 Team., overseeing the planning, agile realization, and continuous evolution of capabilities with end-to-end ownership within DIGITECH
Main areas of responsibilities:
Delivery & Technical ownershi
Brings in-depth technical expertise in solution development. Understanding of the business requirements and transferring them into project deliverables. Assessing the technical requirements when selecting new solutions. Ensures that DIGITECH solutions align with the latest industry standards, technological trends, and best practices.
Releas
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define release scope, objectives, and timelines. Develop and maintain a comprehensive release plan, including release schedules, milestones, and dependencies. Coordinate release activities, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned. Oversee the execution of release activities, including code deployments, configuration changes, and data migrations.
SLAs and KPI
Establish and monitor service levels and performance metrics to measure IT Service Catalog team effectiveness and productivity. Provide accurate reports and metrics for management reporting. Drive pro consumer & customer initiatives and activities through KPI & SLA setup, to reduce time to resolution, reduce number of incidents etc.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Architect, Team Lead, Tech Lead, Engineering Manager or similar role) 5+ years of experience in working with and be directly involved in the development of internet commercial solutions / platform ideally based on cloud providers / SaaS & multi-tenant and microservice based architecture Possess in-depth knowledge of the entire mobile application development lifecycle Experience in managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for mobile application development projects and assessing technical solutions End-to-end delivery of mobile application development projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. Familiar with software practices, both in the BUILD and RUN phases Experience working closely with leadership levels and cross-functional partners to influence key business decisions. Knowledge of testing strategies, unit testing, and automated testing frameworks. Familiar with DevOps and software lean engineering (CI/CD, IaC, Git Flow, GitOps, etc.). Solid knowledge of technology used within e-commerce solutions, specifically Adobe stack (Magento & Adobe Experience Manager). Basics understanding of ERP, CDP, PIM, OMS and CRM systems. •Competent Microsoft Office Suite Inc. Visio. Fluent English (written & spoken).
