**The Opportunity**
Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Developer to join our Americas Development team. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader Growth team, where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The RVP, Development is responsible for being the primary contact with the hotel franchise community in the Central United States, including North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Missouri, Wisconsin, Michigan, and others, for the future development and growth of Hyatt’s Classic and Essential brands. **The Role**
The Lifestyle Developer needs to have a wide and varied skill base, an understanding of local hotel markets, and an ability to develop relationships and convince developers that Hyatt products are well-suited for the location and market
•Develop Relationships with Owners & other partners to grow the Hyatt system
•Identify locations and markets in which to focus time and effort
•Bring new Hyatt projects forward for approval through Hyatt’s internal Development Committee
•Manage and grow the lifestyle deal pipeline
•Negotiate terms and conditions of each franchise agreement
**Qualifications:**
**Experience Required:**
•8 years of hotel franchise sales and development, hotel feasibility, financial analysis, or other sales-related experience
•Previous experience working with or on behalf of lifestyle brands
•Established relationships with owners, operators, consultants, management companies, lenders, builders, etc.
•Strong negotiation and influencing skills
•Excellent communication and presentation skills
•Excellent interpersonal skills and demeanor
•Ability to multitask and handle multiple relationships and deals at all times
**Experience Preferred:**
•Bachelor’s degree
•Ability to travel approximately 70-80% of the time
_The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards and an_
_annual bonus._ _The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other_
_qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet_
_local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate._
