Job Family Description:

Roles in the Finance experience job family have ultimate accountability for true and fair representation of business performance in financial documents, Treasury and Bank Operations and ICO processes within the group.

Finance experience roles take ownership for JE accounting, GL reconciliation, treasury and bank operations, and E2E process of ICO operations within the company.

Purpose:

To be responsible for operational, day to day management of financial data to ensure financial controlEnsure control procedures are closely adhered to in line with global processes and standardsSupport the market to deliver its ambition ensuring adequate representation of the business in their financialsBe responsible for generating insightful analytical reports providing ad-hoc reporting & decision support for the business divisions as required 

Accountabilities:

Accountability for the accurate and fair accounting of the company operationsInterpret reports and data using a range of techniques and tools and communicates to business and financial colleagues, providing technical support and advice to business partnersContinuously supervise the respective P&L and/or BS accounts for any inconsistenciesEnsure that financial processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding internal control procedures are closely adhered to in line with global processes and standardsDeliver monthly management reporting processesIdentify and implement improvements in execution to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, controls, compliance and adherence to global standards and procedures.Strong business partner and CX attitude. Develop a good working relationship with key collaborators; market, FC, STC, STP and global teamsProvide accurate, thorough and timely analysis as needs are identified or requested.

Additional Requirements:

Take full ownership of Record-to-Report (RTR) activities from both business and technical standpointsEnsuring all assigned tasks are completed accurately and within established timelinesServe as the primary point of contact for the RTR team, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end journal entry process, including upstream and downstream impactsEnsure timely resolution of all open GLAT itemsMaintain strict compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsProactively identify and implement process and system enhancements to drive operational efficiency and improve collaborator satisfactionEnsure the intercompany team operates all CARM and GAR controls effectively and on time, while identifying and mitigating potential risksDevelop a culture of high engagement by training, coaching, and empowering team members, and supporting their skill developmentChip in to continuous improvement initiatives, including standardization and simplification of processesCollaborate closely with Business Finance and other finance partners to ensure smooth and effective financial operations

Qualifications / experience 

Qualifications & Skills

Degree educated in relevant finance / businessFinancial Accounting / Reporting, and/or Financial Controlling experience is strongly preferredExperience in a Shared services environment is considered as an advantageSophisticated Collaborator management & leadershipPerformance orientation and problem solvingOutstanding personal and virtual communication skillsTeam leadershipAbility to handle expectations both from team and collaboratorsHandle and grow remote teams

Work experience

3 years working and management experience in a multinational corporate environment, with exposure to some of the following areas:

Financial and Management Accounting, Controlling & Reporting processesAccounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, etc.) experience is considered as an advantageInternal / external audit experience and/or SOXExperience with Shared services process activitiesImprovement in executionProject / change managementBusiness experience and understandingRisk assessmentImproved senior collaborator management and influencing skills

Language skills

Effective communication in English, Spanish
