Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert-level support for Mac OS systems on both desktop and laptop Apple devices.

Perform routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to optimize system performance.

Analyze and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Configure and manage software applications, system settings, and security protocols.

Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Mac OS within the IT department, offering guidance and mentorship as needed.

Work within ITIL guidelines to manage incidents, problems, and service requests efficiently.

Document procedures, configurations, and solutions for reference and training purposes.

Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to improve user experience and resolve complex technical issues.

Provide training sessions or documentation for end-users to optimize Mac OS usage.

Stay updated with Apple software/hardware developments and best practices for Mac OS support.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Certifications: Apple Certification (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional or equivalent).

Experience: Minimum [specify years, e.g., 3+] years of experience in Mac OS desktop and laptop support and maintenance. Overall experience 5 Years

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of Mac OS and Apple hardware/software ecosystem.

Knowledge of ITIL principles and experience in ITIL-based environments.

Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring network settings, and managing software deployment.

Familiarity with remote desktop tools and system administration for Mac OS.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Engineering graduate or graduation in Computer science

Prior experience working in an ITIL-certified environment.

Additional certifications in IT support, network administration, or security.
