Position Overview 

Subcom operates multiple subsea vehicles globally for subsea telecom cable installation and repair. The ROV Supervisor will supervise field operations and equipment maintenance and will report to the Director of Submersible Systems or Submersibles Operations Manager. The position will supervise SubCom employees and contracted labor to conduct and oversee equipment maintenance and subsea operations.

Responsibilities 

 

Supervise the operation, repair, and maintenance of SubCom ROV and Sea Plow systems. Perform the role of lead supervisor for ROV operations. Fulfill shift supervisor role during ROV and Plow operations. Supervise, monitor, and evaluate subsea contractors and SubCom employees. Communicate and enforce company procedures and safety policies. Prepare purchase requisitions and receive parts and supplies. Manage onboard inventory and critical system spares. Oversee system maintenance with a focus on operational readiness. Conduct routine system audits during deployment. Support mob and demobilization of ROV and Sea Plow systems. Manage subsea equipment builds, including FAT and integration. Provide clear feedback to submersibles management on system status and contracted labor. Conduct administrative and supervisory tasks necessary for onboard submersible administration. Conduct operational and administrative training.
