The Route Sales Representative is responsible for selling and delivering Batteries Plus products and services along an assigned route. This role combines sales, delivery, and customer service responsibilities to support commercial clients, grow accounts, and promote Batteries Plus solutions. \n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nSell products and services (e.g., key cutting and programming, installation of car batteries, wiper blades, headlights, etc.).\nEstablish new customers and maintain relationships with existing customers by providing excellent customer service. \nKeep all work areas clean and free of hazards.\nMeet deadlines and ensure timely deliveries.\nOperate a company vehicle safely in various weather and traffic conditions.\nMaintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the company vehicle.\nConduct daily inspection of the vehicle (report maintenance and deficiencies immediately).\nFollow all safety rules and regulations; wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\n\n

Education and Experience\n\nValid driver's license and clean driving record.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred.\nPrior driving or delivery experience is preferred.\nExcellent customer service skills.\nTime management and organizational skills.\nAbility to effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines on multiple projects or tasks.\nSome computer skills may be required for order entry, navigation, and reporting tasks.\nFamiliarity with Batteries Plus products and services.\n\n

Physical Requirements \/ Work Environment\n

hands, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Occasional tasks may include sitting, kneeling, \n

crouching, or reaching overhead. \n\nAssociates in this role are required to regularly use electrical cables, hand tools, a magnifying glass, spot welders, automotive and electronic testing equipment, and a company vehicle.\nWhile performing the responsibilities of this position, the associate may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, and the risk of electrical shock. \nProtective clothing and\/or equipment used in this position includes goggles, gloves, and steel-toed shoes. \n\n
