Job Requirements

Rotating Equipment Specialist will develop activities for design, selection and follow up of rotating Machinery, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements.

 Tasks include: 

Development Technology know howProvide technical support Bidding phaseReview technical tender documentationPrepare rotating equipment technical documentation for inquiryReview and make technical evaluation of machinery bids received by VendorsSupport Lead in defining cost evaluation for machinery and other equipment related to Machinery departmentSupport Machinery Lead in defining engineering requirements and interface with other disciplines.Optimize engineering standards while ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance Prepare technical documentation for requisitions (e.g. technical supply specification, mechanical data sheets)Support Machinery Lead in technical negotiation with vendors. Review and supervise subcontracted discipline engineering documents Prepare technical tabulation and technical evaluation for any type of rotating equipment submitted by Vendors After order award: follow-up engineering activities and interface assigned machinery equipment/package included in purchase ordersReview, mark-up comments and finalize all vendor drawings, interfacing with other process or technical disciplinesAttend to internal review activities and participate to interdisciplinary review meetingsParticipate to and assist technical disciplines to perform engineering activities (e.g. utilities and electrical load list, layouts, 3D, routings) ▪ Provide support for expediting and testing activitiesProvide support for document management and certified final documentationSupport Discipline Lead in the activity with Project functions including Procurement and ConstructionSupport Discipline Lead to define Machinery Equipment construction inspection plan and during Preparation of equipment weights and dimensions to assist Construction activities

Work Experience

Knowledge of following API standards is required as minimum: - API SDT 610 - API SDT 611 - API SDT 614 - API SDT 610 - API SDT 675 - API SDT 676 - API SDT 681 - API SDT 682 

Bachelore degree
