Thompson Palm Springs is currently recruiting for a Rooms Inspector to join the hotel’s Housekeeping team!

At Thompson Palm Springs, a member of the Hyatt collection, we believe our guests select Hyatt because of our caring and attentive colleagues who are focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences. This role will report to the Executive Housekeeper.
The Rooms Inspector will work closely with the Housekeeping team as well as the Rooms leadership team and act as a key liaison to ensure rooms are released in a timely manner for guest arrivals. Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
· Carefully inspect rooms to ensure they meet Hyatt’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation
· Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of assigned guest rooms, with the ability to clean a full board when business needs require
· Communicate effectively with Housekeeping Leadership and Room Attendants to maintain quality and consistency
· Collaborate closely with the Front Office to ensure timely room releases and preparation for VIP arrivals
· Serve as a key liaison between the Housekeeping and Front Office teams
· Help uphold a positive, team-oriented environment by providing feedback and support to Housekeeping staff
This is a **non-** **exempt** (hourly) role. The budgeted salary range for this position is **$22.00.** This is the pay for this position that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors including experience and education.

· Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel setting is required
· A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
· Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
