Rooms Coordinator - Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor

The iconic Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor is seeking a full-time rooms coordinator to join their guest services team! This 757-room property is located next to Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Inner Harbor’s museums, the National Aquarium, and is connected to Baltimore Convention Center via skywalk!

 

Shift Pattern: candidates should be available to work AM and PM shifts as needed, any day of the week/weekends/holidays as needed

Pay Rate: $22.41 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Rooms Coordinator, you would specifically be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Block and pre-register suites and rooms in OnQ according to guests’ requestsAssign VIP or special accommodation and requests as submittedKeep staff informed of all special room accommodationsOver sold-out periods, perform “room protects” to ensure that rooms blocked for future arrivals are protectedCommunicate with front office management team to ensure that Hospitality Suites are blocked according to the hospitality suite listCheck reservations listed on group resume and tour resumes to ensure that reservation dates, billings and room blocks are accurate in OnQPromptly answer all telephone calls with a positive and clear voice; listen to ascertain the callers' requests or concerns / answer basic questions in detailHandle all requests or problems and when necessary, delegate special requests or problems to other departments for action and follow-up with guestLog any guest situations which require action by another department, according who reported to, when completed, and at what time guest was contacted for follow-up
