We are looking for a Room Service Head Waiter/Head Waitress (Chef de Rang) to join our Room Service team.
\nPosition available on a permanent contract (CDI)
39 hours/week – Morning shift 6:00 am to 2:20 pm // Evening shift 3:40 pm to 11:00 pm // Day shift 8:00 am to 4:20 pm
Customer Relations
\n\n\nEnsure customer satisfaction,
\n\n\nOffer a warm, personalized welcome to guests,
\n\n\nProvide attentive service tailored to each guest’s needs,
\n\n\nListen carefully to guest feedback and follow up as needed,
\n\n\nBuild strong relationships with guests, advise them, and encourage loyalty,
\n\n\nHighlight and promote the restaurant’s offerings.
\n\n\nTechnical Skills / Service Delivery
\n\n\nActively participate in service (morning, day, or evening shifts),
\n\n\nOrganize and oversee the work of commis waiters, apprentices, and interns,
\n\n\nMaster the menu and product offerings,
\n\n\nEnsure and verify:
\n\n\nThe setup of the service area and back of house,
\n\n\nThe cleaning and tidying of the service area and back of house after service.
\n\n\n\n\nObtain updated information before each service regarding dish compositions and any menu changes,
\n\n\nAdapt work organization, pace, and guest interaction depending on service volume and clientele type,
\n\n\nEnsure proper care and maintenance of equipment provided.
\n\n\nSales / Commercial
\n\n\nProactively suggest and advise guests on the available services,
\n\n\nPay close attention to and respect guest requests,
\n\n\nHelp to grow revenue in your department,
\n\n\nContribute to guest loyalty through the quality of service provided.
\n\n\nManagement
\n\n\nActively work toward achieving departmental goals by:
\n\n\nFollowing hotel procedures and internal controls,
\n\n\nIncreasing sales.
\n\n\n\n\nFollow billing and payment procedures,
\n\n\nHelp to manage dishware and small equipment carefully, avoiding breakage,
\n\n\nParticipate in inventory counts.
\n\n\nHygiene / Health and Safety / Environment
\n\n\nMaintain a clean work environment and ensure food safety by strictly following daily HACCP hygiene standards,
\n\n\nComply with all equipment usage and safety instructions.
\n\nProfile
\n\n\nYou have at least 1 year of experience as a Head Waiter/Head Waitress (Chef de Rang) in the restaurant industry,
\n\n\nYou are bilingual in French and English,
\n\n\nYou have excellent interpersonal skills with both clients and colleagues,
\n\n\nYou have a strong attention to detail and a passion for perfection,
\n\n\nAuthorization to work in France is required,
