Office Responsibilities: The Curriculum and Learning team at the College of Performing Arts seeks a highly motivated student to serve as Room Scheduling, Student Assistant. We’re looking for a highly organized, friendly, and process-oriented individual to support initiatives within the Room Scheduling area. This position reports to the Manager of Scheduling and Operations and is an ideal position for students who are interested in a career in non-profit or higher education management, venue management, or production.
This position is open to student applicants with Federal Work Study awards, as well as student applicants without a Federal Work Study award.

RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with all scheduling needs within the College of Performing Arts Monitor the CoPA Rooms email account Help book ad hoc and recurring room requests Assist the Manager of Scheduling and Operations with reviewing and creating reservations for classes, private lessons, events, rehearsals, and recitals Assist with usage and implementation of Asimut, the College of Performing Arts’ scheduling software Help troubleshoot and address student and faculty booking and scheduling inquiries Answer questions related to booking policies, permissions, and room information
WORK MODE Hybrid – Employees hired for this position primarily work remotely with the occasional on-campus presence required with advanced notice. Employees in this role will also be expected to use their best judgment to be on campus when necessary in order to best fulfill the responsibilities of their job descriptions.
SALARY RANGE Hourly Rate: $16.50
Hours per Week: 20, throughout the academic year
