This position is responsible for cleaning the assigned rooms, which include the following:
Room Attendant Lead Hand Responsibilities:
To provide assistance in leading and supervising the day to day operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments Actively participate in daily briefing, daily stand up meetings and departmental meetings. Ensuring the Room Attendants are informed daily about priorities in their section. Assist in training new housekeeping Associates and existing housekeeping Associates to ensure that they are following appropriate brand standards. Ensuring that all lost and found articles are stored properly and that the correct logs are maintained Ensuring that Guest Room status is communicated to the Front Desk in a timely and efficient manner Participate actively in a multi-functional work environment and assist hands on in housekeeping work as needed. Inspecting guest rooms, public areas, and employee areas and holding Associates accountable for corrective action Maintaining high level of customer satisfaction by interacting/responding positively with guests and taking immediate action to resolve problems Ensuring safety procedures and proper use of chemicals and cleaning supplies are adhered to by providing training to the housekeeping associates and ensuring hazardous supplies are labelled accordingly Performing all other job duties as directed or assigned.Requirements:
