Job Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma and or a post-secondary education in a technical fieldMust have knowledge on how to inspect rolling mill at the beginning of the shift and to ensure that at all times prior to operation, safety checklist is followed, completed and recordedMust have knowledge of rolling mill controls and tooling protection or other pieces of equipment to operate rolling millValid Forklift license (training will be provided and maintained if required)Valid Crane license (training will be provided and maintained if required)Must have knowledge of all Inspection Records, SPC Charts and checking fixturesMust have knowledge of measuring equipment, such as, vernier and other gaugesMust have experience in starting and shutting down of all equipment necessary to run appropriate rolling millKnowledge in rolling mill induction weldingGood English (both written and verbal) communication skillsStrong mathematical skillsPhysically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to work overtime when required and willing to help out when necessary as per customer demands

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for part qualityResponsible at the end of run for cleaning of rolling mill, removal of rolls, cleaning of them and storing them at the appropriate placeMust have ability to use hand tools and be able to make minor adjustments to operationAbility to monitor oils and fluids levels Ability to butt weld ends of coil together to form continuous feed or feed by handAbility to operate safely 10 to 40 ton cranes with appropriate sling or chainMust have knowledge of First and Last Off ProcedureMust have knowledge of setting roll tools and achieve sectionMust be organized and clean up the area and equipment at the end of the shiftMust be able to communicate issues/problems to area leader or work cell leaderKnowledge of WHMIS/GHSGood organizational skills, ability to work well without supervisionPerforms all job functions abiding by the office/work standards, policies and procedures as outlines in the company handbook.Performs all job functions in alignment with IATF 16949 quality management standards and ISO 14001Actively participates in continuous improvementMaintain 5S standards in working environmentAttend training based on Mytox’s internal training matrixPerforms all job functions in a safe, healthful and environmentally conscious manner, abiding by all health, safety and environment rules and regulations as outlined in the company handbookPerforms other duties as assigned or any reasonable request by management.

Wage: $30 per hour
