At Cognizant, we promote an inclusive culture where we value different perspectives. **Job Summary** **Responsabilities** + Strong understanding of Roku SDKs video playback and channel publishing process + Experience with video streaming protocols (HLS/DASH) and DRM technologies + Familiarity with client-side ad insertion and third-party ad SDKs + Solid understanding of software engineering principles and debugging practices + Experience integrating analytics platforms like Conviva Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics **Qualifications** + Familiarity with Git CI/CD workflows and Agile development practices + 2+ years of experience developing Roku apps using BrightScript and SceneGraph + Excellent communication and collaboration skills + Experience with other OTT platforms (tvOS Fire TV Android TV) + Familiarity with Rokus Direct Publisher and SceneGraph component libraries + Design and develop applications for the Roku platform using BrightScript and SceneGraph + Optimize app performance for smooth playback navigation and responsiveness + Integrate RESTful APIs video streams analytics and advertising platforms (e.g. SSAI VAST VPAID) + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features + Troubleshoot and fix bugs performance issues and edge cases + Ensure compliance with Roku platform guidelines and best practices + Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture decisions Why Cognizant?
